With all the doom and gloom news about the housing and mortgage market many wonder is it time to buy? I tell buyers this market is about the best time to buy a house, we have many houses in the market and sellers are willingly to negotiate with serious buyers.
The interest rate is historically low ( 30yr rate 6.31% per Freddie Mac) and the sales terms are favorable- buyers can get seller’s help with closing cost, can get seller to pay for 1yr home warranty, and get sellers to fix up all the issues that come up in the property inspection.
No one has the crystal ball that this condition will continue next year, but as it stands right now if you are buyer and have good credit then wait no longer buy now when the market is favorable.
